Bet on Vanity

By John Tuccitto
The Brainsmithy Learning Pod came to be because I recognized society's need for a neutral space for parents to disarm politics and expel propaganda. We MUST learn to tolerate opposing views, debate fascistic overreach, and reach liked-mined people (when in need of camaraderie).  I teach critical thinking that is discouraged in schools today.

Why?

Critical thinking is not taught in school because institutions bet (like a stock) on the predictability of your child's respect towards wisdom, objectivity, and order.  Why?  Vanity.  Trust me, eventually it'll make sense.  Institutions that profit from the respect you and your children give (through vanity) caters to the ignorant, cradles the sensitive, and preaches to the distracted.

Why?

No one is encouraged to know themselves through introspection, they are only encouraged to admire their delusion through the pursuit of celebrity.  At Brainsmithy Learning Pod, we teach parents that celebrity is the unhealthy pursuit for applause.  Why?  Your sanity mustn't hinge on the approval of something you cannot control.  Why?  It's impossible.  We endeavor to achieve the impossible and we worship lies fed to us by cowardly bystanders.  Right?  Remember the sooner your children know and accept themselves, the sooner they know their strengths and weaknesses; sooner than institutions can hope to exploit your children's innocent brain with propaganda.

Truth is knowing everything.  Honesty is everything you know.

I document mental mechanisms (i.e. celebrity) to capture innocence being exchanged for wisdom.  Innocence is lifeblood to institutions that preach wisdom.  In a simple triangle diagram, I decipher mechanisms like "try."  "Try" is the most important mechanism in the mind.  Why?  It's comprised of three parts: Memory, Thinking & Communication.  You have to try.  You have to learn from failure trying new things intelligently.  We will document our learnings together with simple and intuitive design.  I have over 11 years of design experience working as an Interaction Designer at Royal Bank of Canada.

Great design is like home cooking:
you keep coming back for more even though it never changes (like basic fundamentals).  Great design never needs to change.  That's the type of design I teach.  With critical thinking and basic fundamentals, you will receive an education that prepares your children for real life (not safe spaces).  What's the difference between delusion and confidence?  The outcome.  What defines the outcome?  Reality.  That's why DELUSION is so bloody popular.  If the outcome always delivers delusion, you'd be crazy to try (or quit).  "Trying is crazy if that outcome never changes.
Delusion is a drug (designed using lies we worship) to keep us sane from the realities of regret.  That's why it's so difficult to dwell in reality.  With help from the failure of fear, delusion sets the stage of "achieving the impossible" allowing the mechanism to survive another day.  This is why we need to believe lies we are told; the failure of fear lends a hand.

"The failure of fear is that it can only persuade with lies."

Failure of fear (persuade with lies) + Delusion (cycle of defiance) = Celebrity (fruitless endeavour)

Repeat until you succeed or die (Addicted to achieving the impossible)

Get it?  The failure of fear, persuades you (and bystanders) with lies "tailored to tickle" your gullibility, to validate your delusion's attempts to seduce reality; with friction. What friction?  Manifested in the form of reasonable-doubt bystanders suggest solutions (timidly) out of the courage to be honest.  However, it's much simpler for bystanders to support your delusions to avoid friction;  rather than be honest with the courage to offend you.  Reality is unseduced, yet the failure of fear exploits our gullibility with the lie "I'm always right, because no one disagrees."  Delusion's attempt to seduce reality creates an awkward friction that requires an intervention to return the delusional to reality.   Briefly.

The reason why the outcome of delusion never changes is because delusional people task others to judge their trek as an endeavor.  Instead they cater, cradle or preach to your vanity.  "Crazy" is the cycle of defiance, never getting its way.  Crazy people don't succeed so much as spineless people constantly cave-in to their demands.  That is vanity.  You are honest, yet afraid of honesty.  Therefore, vain people surround themselves with liars they trust to feed their delusion; honesty used against them (according to them) is a crime.

"Reality is not for everyone."

It takes merciless introspection to understand why celebrity is not worth the sacrifice.  Achieve the possible.
